Stops Along the Way
Rev. Jessica Boyce, preaching
The Christmas season can shine brightly for many—but for others, it can feel heavy, complicated, or even lonely. Our Blue Christmas Service creates sacred space for anyone carrying grief, loss, stress, or tender emotions during the holidays.
This gentle, contemplative gathering invites you to come just as you are. Through quiet music, Scripture, prayer, and reflection, we acknowledge that not every heart feels “merry and bright”—and that God’s love meets us most powerfully in the places we are honest, vulnerable, and seeking peace.
As our Advent series leads us “On the Way to Bethlehem,” this service offers a much-needed stop along the way—a place to pause, breathe deeply, name what aches, and rest in God’s compassionate presence. Whether you’re grieving a loved one, navigating life changes, or simply feeling worn thin this season, you are welcome here.
Come and experience a night of comfort, hope, and gentle light—reminding us that even the long road to Bethlehem is lined with moments where God draws near.
